Synopsis

On this rip-roaring season of The Incredible Dr. Pol, the docs are off to the races as they zoom from critical clinic visits to emergency farm calls. Strap in for a wild ride as the crew of Pol Veterinary Services works seven days a week pulling calves, pushing prolapses and trying to triage the mayhem that comes with the central Michigan territory.

Dr. Pol and Charles rush to rescue Sam, a 2-year-old Percheron, while Dr. Brenda checks on Sebastian, a 4H sheep with a spot of trouble - ringworm!

  • Everyone is running here, there, and emu-where. The week starts with 10 feisty bovines that might be pregnant. Then one of Dr. Pol's own Friesian horses isn't walking right. After briefly misplacing the horse, Dr. Pol and Charles team up to figure out the mystery injury.

  • It's a healthy dose of cows, bow-wows, and vows this week in central Michigan! A dehydrated dachshund receives intensive care at PVS, while a horse with colic calls Dr. Emily thirty miles from the clinic. As Dr. Brenda helps a cow that can't get back on her feet, Charles is orchestrating his biggest surprise yet for his parents' fiftieth wedding anniversary.

  • Summer's on its way out the door, but that doesn't stop the clients of Pol Vet from rushing in! A busy week at the clinic has everyone from the clinic staffers to their furry friends seeking some R&R. Dr. Pol takes the weekend to trade in his stethoscope for a fishing pole as he and Diane take a mini-vacation out on the open water!

  • This week on the Incredible Dr. Pol, there is trauma, drama, and a piglet in peril that needs the entire Pol Pack to join forces to save his life.   • Dr. Emily must save a Pitbull pup on death's door who arrives at the clinic with a lethal combo of Parvo and a bacterial infection. Meanwhile, Dr. Pol goes into overdrive to rescue a horse choking to death, a rabbit from going blind, and a piglet with a ruptured rump.

  • Santa Paws is coming to town this week on the Incredible Dr. Pol! Despite the weather, the staff at PVS are determined to keep their spirits high. With broken wings and smelly things, jingle bells and puppy yelps, it's looking to be a Holly, Pol-y Christmas!

  • This week on the Incredible Dr. Pol, the docs at Pol Vet are bombarded with not one, not two, not three, but four dogs that have been attacked. On top of the dog fights, the docs are seeing everything: bloated cows, pregnant pigs, and even a needy kitten makes an appearance.

Cement mixers and cranes have the Pol clinic buzzing with anticipation for this latest addition. But on the road its business as usual for the Pol crew as Dr. Pol, Charles and Dr. Brenda work to tackle the problems of a feisty alpaca, a troubled twosome of dairy cows, and a miniature donkey with a fungus problem on its feet.

  • This Thanksgiving the birds are calling the shots at Pol Veterinary Services when Charles adopts three turkeys that are on the run. Then when Gail and Lynn Wernette find a pair of wandering Great Danes near their home, they bring them to the clinic.   • It is the week before Christmas and all through the farms, Dr. Pol is still working inside the red barns! It's beginning to look at lot like Christmas in Michigan as Dr. Pol heads to John Jourdan's for his first farm call of the day. Dr. Emily may be able to take help with the workload, but Dr. Pol stays busy as he juggles a horse combating colic, a rabbit that can't hop to it, and a working dog named Stitches, with possible head trauma.

  • The animals of Isabella County are getting antsy after such a long winter and they're up to more trouble than usual. Dr. Pol is out to save an unborn calf after its mother has a life-threatening metal snack and has to help Ellie May, a dog who's gotten money hungry and is now a barking piggy bank. While his dad is hard at work, Charles offers to lend a hand at a local farm. Charles works to prove to the folks at Clay Knob and his father just how farm handy he can be, but the pigs and cows of the dairy farm refuse to make it easy for him.

  • After a long winter these antsy animals are ready for warm weather and spring brings all new troubles to the Pol clinic. Reggie the pit-bull is in for a nasty gash while Roxy and Lily, a pair of curious pups, are dealing with their own problems after provoking a prickly porcupine. Then add one feisty mini-horse, an unlucky pet pig, and a breeched calving, and Dr. Pol's plate is maxing out. Meanwhile, Charles may have bitten off more than he can chew when he decides to enter a pancake-eating contest at the annual Shepherd's Maple Syrup Festival.

  • Popeye the rabbit comes to Pol Clinic with overgrown teeth and leaves with a couple of dates! Popeye's owner, Jodi, is raising money for her therapeutic riding organization, Hopewell Ranch. With a little charm, she gets Dr. Pol to agree to auction off dinner with him and Diane as one of their prizes at their annual fundraiser. With Charles auctioning off a date as well, the stage is set for a friendly competition to see who can get the highest bidder. Dr. Pol doesn't have time to fret though; he has his hands full with Mary, a pup who swallowed a dangerous amount of nicotine, and Blondie, a goat with a mysterious disease that could infect her...

  • It's ready, set, VET as Dr. Pol and the other vets race to take on emergency after emergency in one frantic Friday. A pup with eye problems, a bird with a busted beak and a trio of possibly pregnant alpacas, start a day of jumping. But when emergency after emergency comes through, all the vets find themselves running just to keep up with their clients. For Dr. Pol, business hours don't matter when there are animals in need. Ready and able… and with coffee in hand, you won't catch Dr. Pol sleeping when there are lives at stake!

  • Dr. Pol is fielding farm calls all over Isabella County now that the spring birthing season is in full swing. Dr. Pol is ready to catch whatever curveball a cow throws his way, but when the local minor league baseball team asks him to throw the first pitch, it comes right out of left field. He may not be a baseball pro, but Dr. Pol knows how to play hardball and after practicing with Charles, he's going to show Michigan a first pitch to remember. But practice comes last when Dr. Pol still has so many farm calls to deal with first!

  • The Pol clinic is packed to the gills with a mini-pig, giant bunny, pregnant dog, and a busted hen. Meanwhile, think the Pol animal family is big enough? Think again! When Douglass the Great Dane comes to the clinic in need of a home, Dr. Pol can't say no to those puppy dog eyes. Getting this pup to join the family is no easy task. The whole Pol family is going to pitch-in to get Douglass up to speed!

  • As snow and ice blanket Weidman, there's no slowing down for Dr. Pol and his team, who battle the elements and slick roads to save their clients animals. As the clinic becomes increasingly busier, Charles swaps sunny L.A. for frigid Michigan to help with the workload. Dr. Pol challenges Charles to take part in the local Special Olympics charity event, the Polar Plunge, where participants dive into an icy lake in the height of winter. Always up for a challenge, Charles agrees to take the bitter cold dip, making him feel as sick as some of the clinics fuzzy four-legged patients. A veterinary student from Iowa State University shadows Dr. Pol for the day, assisting with the infusion of mares, treating a downed cow, and diagnosing animals at the clinic. Dr. Pol hopes the day's experiences will be enough to convince the student to eventually become a part of his team.

    A slew of unusual findings and emergencies have Dr. Pol and Diane convinced the full moon is the cause of the chaos. Between every cow at Gary Smith's farm being pregnant and cannibalistic pigs, the animals seem wilder than ever.

  • Dr. Pol and his staff face a variety of challenging tasks every day. Although the clinic work can be as simple as giving a vaccination, it can also be as difficult as performing a major surgery. But the real test for these vets is the unpredictable job of treating large animals.

  • Spring turns to summer and Dr. Pol's patience and stamina are tested as record-breaking heat hits the "middle of the mitten". From a cow struggling to give birth to a feisty mini horse, Dr. Pol and Dr. Brenda's "never give up" motto is time consuming but rewarding as the clinic is hit with one emergency farm call after another.

  • The flu can't keep Dr. Pol and the team away from helping the animals and people that depend on them most. While Dr. Pol is able to pinpoint what's making him ill, it's not so easy for his patients to do so. As he and Charles take on the complexities of cow ailments, Dr. Brenda goes to work on an abnormally lethargic dog and checks out a limping pet duck.

  • The Dr. Pol Veterinary team is finally getting some relief from their busy schedules in the form of a recent vet school graduate named Dr. Sandra. The day before she arrives shows just how much they could use her help as Dr. Pol and Charles ride from farm call to farm call, helping out a cow with injured lungs as well as some calves suffering from botched castrations.

  • The hectic life of Dr. Pol gets ramped up one more notch this week with the visit of his Dutch family and Charles' L.A. lady. Although the company makes the clinic feel jam-packed, the extra hands on farm calls provide a little relief for Doc Pol.

  • The sizzling Michigan heat is taking its toll on Dr. Pol and his team this week. But unfortunately for these vets, the animals are suffering from the rising temperature as well.

  • After the emergency farm calls and clinic visits for the week are complete, the Pols kick off their Fourth of July celebrations with a parade and a barbecue! With Charles manning the grill, family and friends gather at the Pols for some brats, potato salad, and fireworks.

  • After 40 years of being a vet, Dr. Pol knows no job is too big or small for him to handle when it comes to treating his patients. From unusual cases such as a horse with the West Nile Virus and a calf with balance problems, to checking the health of a newborn kitten, the animals seem to be trying to stump him at every turn.

  • In the premiere episode, we meet Dr. Jan Pol, who, along with his wife Diane, runs thriving veterinary clinic located in Central Michigan's farm country. As hardworking as he is eccentric, Dr. Pol is nothing short of a local legend within the community thanks to his old school, no-nonsense approach to animal care.

  • In the second episode, Dr. Pol, assisted by his son Charles, is faced with several difficult cases, including a Police Dog who is lethargic and losing weight for no obvious reason and an aggressive Terrier whose leg seems broken yet is normal according to his x-ray.
